英国法律业介绍
英国是英美法系的发源地，其法律制度具有独特的历史传统和发展道路。目前施行于英格兰、威尔士和北爱尔兰的法律制度，仍为英美法系的代表；苏格兰的法律制度具有大陆法系的许多特征，属于混合性质的法律制度，但其最高立法和司法机关仍为英国议会。
英国法律行业将每一个岗位详细划分，不同种类的律师有不同的管理范围。在英格兰和威尔士的律师被分为两类，Solicitors（事务律师）和Barristers（出庭律师）。每类律师都有不同的知识与技能要求。
Solicitors可以直接接受当事人委托，主要从事各类非诉讼业务，比如日常法律咨询、争议解决、人权维护、税务纠纷等。Solicitors受雇于律师事务所，每月有稳定的收入，年薪起薪为3万8千英镑。
Barristers则是指出庭律师，通常被称为大律师。他们可以接受事务律师的委托代表客户在高等法院出庭，专攻于大型法律事件。Barristers的工资取决于业务的数量与质量。出色的Barristers将有机会提升至高等法院法官和上诉法院法官。

YVONNE KRZYWKOWSKA
Yvonne has degrees in Law and Criminology and a Masters in Criminal Justice Studies. She has completed the professional exams to qualify as a Solicitor and is fully acquainted with the recruitment process for training contracts and internships. She has a strong knowledge of English law, business and graduate employment opportunities. She is passionate about education and the opportunities it affords.
Yvonne worked closely with Chinese colleagues and clients, advising senior client management and mentoring junior staff.
Having lived and worked in the Far East, Greece and Switzerland over the last 30 years her multicultural background has given her an understanding and respect for cultural diversity. With her warm and empathetic character, she is looking forward to helping our Chinese students at Mandarin Consulting equip themselves with the life skills and knowledge required for successful interviews and future career success as global citizens.
