杭州文化旅游(开普敦)推广活动

开普敦当地时间10月22日上午，由杭州市文化广电旅游局曲波巡视员率领的杭州文化旅游促销推广团一行，在南非开普敦举办了杭州文化旅游推介交流会，向开普敦旅游界宣传推广中国的人间天堂，休闲之都---杭州。会上，曲波巡视员介绍了杭州经济社会发展情况和文化旅游休闲资源，组织两地文化旅游企业开展了积极友好合作交流。

杭州是浙江省省会和经济、文化、科教中心，是世界第六大都市群——中国长三角的中心城市之一，面积1.66万平方公里，常住人口约940万。

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province and the center of economy, culture, education and technology as well. Hangzhou covers an administrative area of 16 thousands and 6 hundreds square kilometers. With the population of 9.4million, Hangzhou is also the central city of Chinese Southern Yangtze Delta, which is the sixth largest megalopolis in the world.
杭州是中国最佳旅游城市，旅游资源丰富，拥有西湖、京杭大运河、西溪湿地、千岛湖、钱塘江等著名旅游目的地，被世界旅游组织评为全球15个美丽样板城市之一。全市共有近800家旅行社，2018年，接待国内外游客1.84亿人次，其中境外游客超过420万人次，实现旅游收入3589亿元，增长18.0%。

Hangzhou is the best tourism city of China. Rich in tourist resources, Hangzhou has abundant tourist resources such as West Lake, which has been listed as the World Heritage by UNESCO, Xi xi wet land, one thousand Islands Lake, Grand Canal and Qiantang River. Hangzhou has been selected into the list of 15 sample cities of the world by UNWTO in 2017. There are 800 tourist agencies in Hangzhou. In 2018, Hangzhou receives 184 million domestic and overseas tourists and 4.2 million inbound tourists. Tourism revenue amounts to 358 billion yuan, recording a year-on-year growth of 18%.
杭州是中国历史文化名城，历史悠久，文化灿烂。拥有距今8000年历史的“跨湖桥遗址”，以及距今5000年的“良渚文化”，被誉为“东方文明的曙光”。历史上吴越国和南宋王朝曾经两度在杭州建都，是中国著名的七大古都之一，曾被13世纪意大利旅行家马可?波罗赞叹为“世界上最美丽华贵的天城”。此外，杭州还是世界上开凿最早、距离最长的世界文化遗产——京杭大运河的南端城市。

It has 39 national key cultural relics protection units and more than 80 museums. It has 4 representative works of human intangible cultural heritage and 44 national intangible cultural heritage, ranking first in China. In addition, the performances of “Living Poetry” and “Romance of Song Dynasty” are well-known at home and abroad, attracting a large number of tourists to watch.
杭州是东方文化国际交流重要城市，现有西湖和中国大运河（杭州段）、良渚古城遗址3处世界文化遗产；拥有全国重点文物保护单位39处、博物馆80余座；拥有人类非物质文化遗产代表作4项、国家级非遗44项，数量位居中国首位。此外，“最忆是杭州””、“宋城千古情”等文艺节目演出享誉海内外，吸引了大量游客慕名观看。

杭州是中国最具经济活力城市，连续多年被世界银行评为“中国城市总体投资环境最佳城市”第一名，多年位居美国《福布斯》杂志评选的“中国大陆最佳商业城市”前十。全球最大的电子商务平台阿里巴巴，收购沃尔沃汽车的中国吉利汽车总部等均设在杭州。

Hangzhou is>Alibaba, the biggest e-business company is located in Hangzhou. Geely Automobile, which acquired Volvo is also located in Hangzhou.
杭州是中国著名会展名城，每年举办各类节庆和会展活动8000余个，其中每年举办的中国杭州西湖国际博览会和中国国际动漫节已成为规模最大、影响最广的盛会。2017年获得“中国最佳奖营销目的地”称号。

Hangzhou is a famous MICE city in China. There are more than 8000 festivals and exhibitions hosted in Hangzhou every year, and among them the annually West Lake Expo and International Animation Festival are the largest and the most influential events. In 2017, Hangzhou was granted the “Best MICE Marketing Destination in China”.
杭州拥有完善的各类服务设施，目前共有星级饭店200余家，包括排名全球前十位的洲际、万豪、雅高、最佳西方、喜达屋、凯悦香格里拉等国际知名集团品牌。全市共有130余个旅游咨询点，分布在主要交通出入口、景区景点和城市公共设施周边，用多种语言为世界各国游客提供咨询服务，实现无障碍旅游。

Hangzhou has perfect service facilities. So far, there are 200 starred hotels in Hangzhou, among which there are international brands such as inter-continental, Cendant, Marriott, Accor, Best Western, Starwood, Hyatt etc. There are 130 tourist info centers in the city, serving the city in different language for tourists around the world.
本次推介交流会以“最忆是杭州”为主题，向当地文旅各界人士介绍了杭州文化旅游的概况，推介了西湖、京杭大运河、千岛湖等旅游景区以及杭州全域旅游、民俗游和特色游中的新兴旅游项目和景点，并在宣传“独特韵味，别样精彩”城市形象的同时，重点推广后峰会时期杭州旅游产品，茶文化、丝绸、美食和非物质文化遗产等杭州特色文化，取得了预期成效。
With the theme of “Living Poetry”, this promotion introduced the general situation of Hangzhou cultural tourism, and introduced the tourist attractions such as West Lake, Grand Canal, One Thousand Islands Lake and the emerging tourism projects and attractions. It greatly promoted the “unique charm” city image, focusing on Hangzhou tourism products, tea culture, silk, food and intangible cultural heritage, etc. The expected results have been achieved.
