关忠良副校长赴唐山研究院调研
Vice-President Guan Zhongliang Visited Tangshan Research Institute
     
     10月22日，副校长关忠良、唐山市副市长曹全民一行莅临北京交通大学唐山研究院调研视察工作。
    On October 22nd, Vice-President Guan Zhongliang, Deputy Mayor of Tangshan Cao Quanmin and the delegates visited Tangshan Research Institute of BJTU in order to inspect the Institute’s work.

       关忠良一行考察了研究院教师上课情况，与唐山市政府有关部门负责人就支持唐山研究院建设发展、加快推进研究院二期和三期工程建设、深化校地合作等事宜充分交换了意见，达成了一致共识，双方表示，将在校地双方的共同努力推动下，加快推进唐山研究院建设，尽快达到规划设计要求。
 
   Guan Zhongliang and the delegates inspected the overall situation of the classes at the Institute. Together with the relevant departments of Tangshan municipal government, both sides exchanged the views on the related issues of supporting the development of Tangshan Research Institute’s reconstruction, to speed up the second and third phase construction project of the Institute, to depeen the cooperation between university and local government, and reached consensus. The two parties said they would accelerate the construction of the Tangshan Research Institute and meet the planning and design requirements as soon as possible, driven by the joint efforts of both sides.

       调研期间，关校长一行来到留学生预科班观摩汉语课堂，调研留学生教学学习情况。预科班的留学生们以热情饱满的姿态欢迎各位领导的到来，并用汉语致欢迎词。该预科班共有24名留学生，分别来自蒙古、坦桑尼亚、阿塞拜疆、斯里兰卡、乍得、缅甸六个国家。在课堂上，同学们学习激情十足，汉语发音标准，朗朗读书声响彻教室。各位领导对来华留学团队的管理与教学工作表示认可，为留学生们的学习热情点赞。  
 
   During the inspection, President Guan and the delegates came to the International Student Foundation Program Class to observe the Chinese language class and investigate the teaching and learning situation of international students.   The students welcomed the leaders with great enthusiasm and expressed greetings in Chinese. There are 24 international students coming from Mongolia, Tanzania, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Chad and Myanmar in UFP class. In the class, students studied with great passion，and the sounds of the accurate Chinese echoed through the classrooms. Distinguished visitors thoroughly appreciated not only the International Students Office team’s effort put in the management and teaching, but also the students’ zealous learning.
 


       陪同调研工作的还有国际教育学院、远程学院、国资处、外联处、财务处以及唐山市政府各部门。
 
   The delegates of College of International Education, College of Distance Learning, State-owned Assets Department, Foreign Liaison Department, Financial Department as well as Tangshan municipal government accompanied the inspection visit.
