常州威雅公学学生再度受邀为
“英伦精选2019”呈现音乐盛宴

在上海举办的“英伦精选展”是规模最大的展示英伦文化的大型展览。今年英伦精选展于2019年10月17日-20日在上海会展中心举办，展示了英国品牌的品质、创新和卓越。威雅公学弦乐队受邀到活动现场进行演奏，为此我们深感荣幸。来自牛顿学院的J. Zhou和芳婷学院的E. Miao带领他们的弦乐四重奏乐队演奏了莫扎特C大调第四号弦乐四重奏K157第1乐章和亨德尔的《示巴女王的到来》。

来自斯科特学院的J. Jia和霍金学院的M. Sun随后在舞台中心表演了巴赫D小调双小提琴协奏曲第1乐章。音乐会的最后，我们的八重奏弦乐团与天才吉他演奏家W. Hua（牛顿学院）共同演奏了维瓦尔第D大调吉他协奏曲RV93第1和第2乐章，为整场演出画上完美的句号。每个学生都在舞台上展示了他们的专业度，为现场观众呈现了精彩绝伦的表演。

The 2019 Shanghai Best of British Expo is the largest exhibition dedicated to British Brands in China. It was held in the stunning Shanghai Exhibition Centre on the 17-20th October showcasing the best in quality, innovation and excellence from Great Britain. It was an honour for the Wycombe Abbey String Quartets to be invited to give a concert as a part of this event. J. Zhou (Newton house) and E. Miao (Fonteyn house) led their string quartets in performances of Mozart’s String Quartet No.4 in C major, K157 and Handel’s The arrival of the Queen of the Sheba.

J. Jia (Scott house) and M. Sun (Hawking) then took centre stage in a performance of J.S.Bach’s Double Violin Concerto in D minor. The concert concluded with our Octet and talented guitar soloist W. Hua (Newton House) performing Vivaldi’s Guitar Concerto in D major, RV93. Every pupil showed their professionalism on stage and rose to the occasion to produce several stunning performances.
